FOUR people suffered serious injuries after a crash on the M5 northbound near Strensham Services on Friday.
Around 5.30pm, a black Nissan Qashqai collided with the back of a white Mercedes campervan which was stationary on the hard shoulder just after the slip road.
The driver of the Nissan and the front passenger were treated for minor injuries, but the rear passengers suffered life-threatening injuries and an air ambulance was called.
All passengers from the Nissan were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Those in the Mercedes van were treated for at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and the passenger has since been discharged with injuries to her back.
No arrests have been made.
Traffic was rerouted around the scene and one lane was closed while patients were treated, and vehicles were recovered before the highway was assessed for damage.
