A COUNTY business has recorded the best two-month sales period in its history.
5 Star Windows and Conservatories has secured retail and trade orders worth nearly £2.5million in February and March, a figure that is 125 per cent higher than last year and 53 per cent up on 2019.
The company, which operates from a showroom in Carden Street and a further one in Kidderminster, has created 20 new jobs as a result, with new designers, operations and customer service experts added to the 100-strong team.
Management at the firm believe a combination of industry-leading new products, proactive marketing campaigns during the pandemic, and the use of technology to provide the best possible customer experience have been fundamental in supporting the growth.
The milestone achievements come at a perfect time, with 5 Star celebrating 10 years as a member of the Conservatory Outlet network of retailers, who design and build exquisite living spaces and install an exclusive portfolio of windows and doors that provide exceptional energy efficiency and security.
