A RAPIST who fled the court following his conviction has been sentenced to an additional six months in prison.
Bradley Tout, formerly of Durham Road, Ronkswood, is already serving a seven-and-a-half-year sentence for raping a 16-year-old girl but escaped from Worcester Crown Court following his conviction for the offence last month.
The 20-year-old handed himself in four days later and admitted the offence in court on Friday (November 9)
Det Sgt James Hopkins welcomed the additional sentence and hoped it provided closure for Tout’s victim.
“After going through a traumatic investigation and trial, Tout’s actions caused additional anxiety for his victim and also for the wider community. I would like to thank them for their support while officers searched for Tout.”
