QUIZ lovers are being invited to pit their wits at a fund-raising event to support a cricket club where one of Worcestershire’s favourite sons began his career.
The quiz takes place at 7pm in The View at Worcestershire County Cricket Club on September 11 and will raise funds to support the junior cricket sides at St Augustine Cricket Club where Basil D’Oliveira began his career.
There will be prizes for the winning teams as well as spot prizes and other fun on the night.
Tickets are priced at £20 per person for teams of five and includes a pie and chips meal and a drink.
