Egg-citing times this Easter

FAMILIES are taking part in a series of egg-citing events during the Easter holidays.

The Infirmary Medical Museum, on the University of Worcester’s city campus, hosted Easter-themed craft activities today (Tuesday) and they carry on tomorrow (Wednesday), between 11am and 4pm.

Young visitors have the chance to make Easter cards and egg-shaped, cardboard stained glass windows, as well as taking part in an egg trail around the venue.

The Infirmary will also be staging a chocolate quiz as part of Worcester’s Chocolate Day. It is also available online at facebook.com/TheInfirmaryWorcester until today, with answers revealed on Thursday.

Carol Bowsher, learning and access officer at the museum, said: “We are really excited to be holding these Easter activity days.

“We know children love to make things, and we really enjoy welcoming them to the museum.”

Behind the scenes historical tours will also run today, at 11am and 12pm, with visitors invited to explore the museum’s past and take part in interactive exhibits.
