Drivers warned of Croft Road car park closure

Worcester Editorial 17th Sep, 2018   0

A MAIN city centre car park used by lorries and coaches will be closed from today for a week for resurfacing work.

The largest section of the Croft Road car park to the south of the railway viaduct will be closed from 7am this morning until 7am on Monday, September 24.

Cars will still be able to use the section of the car park to the north of the viaduct, however the number of spaces will be limited so motorists are encouraged to consider parking elsewhere while the work is completed.

Alternative parking spaces for coaches are available at Hylton Road, King Street and Sansome Walk car parks. While the refurbishment work takes place, coaches will also be allowed to park on the yellow lines in Grandstand Road.

The nearest parking for lorries will be at Wainwright Road, Warndon Business Park or the M5 Southbound Services at Strensham.
