A WORCESTER retirement development was handed £250 worth of John Lewis vouchers for its stunning festive decorations
Francis Court retirement development in Barbourne Road was the winner in the very first national Best Dressed Development Awards held by Retirementmove, the national independent estate agency specialising in retirement properties, recognising the efforts that house managers, staff and homeowners make to ensure their development is beautifully decorated for Christmas.
All developments were eligible to enter and Retirementmove received so many from around the country that it plans to make the competition an annual calendar fixture.
Francis Court house manager Helen Hughes said: “We made a social event out of it with mulled wine and mince pies…We are a large development of 60 apartments so it takes a lot of doing. Thank you again so much on behalf of myself and the residents.”
