A RALLYING call has gone out for local businesses with American connections to come forward and help tourism chiefs promote Worcestershire to visitors from across the pond.
Following the celebration of Edward Winslow’s birthday in October, Visit Worcestershire has been busy promoting the county’s Mayflower connections.
Visit Worcestershire is now working with other destinations as part of a £700,000 Visit England project to create multiple itineraries which have American connections.
Businesses from across the accommodation, events and attractions industries are being encouraged to open their doors to the US visitor market when the Mayflower Vacation Packages begin in 2019.
Visit Worcestershire needs to compare travel trade content for all American connections, in addition to the Mayflower urgently by Tuesday.
Events businesses can complete a feedback form at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/6X52J53 while accommodation chiefs can visit www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/3JDV3JC
