ACTIVE city residents are being encouraged to join Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life with men and children now welcome to join in the fun.
For the first time since the popular event began more than 25 years ago, the charity hopes Worcester residents will come together for the event at Worcester Racecourse on July 13 and 14.
Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, in partnership with Tesco, is a series of 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy and Pretty Muddy Kids events which raise millions of pounds every year to help beat cancer by funding crucial research.
Thanks to everyone who raises money, Cancer Research UK is able to fund research to fight 200 types of cancer.
