ASPIRING bakers from across the city were awarded for cooking up a storm with prizes in the Great Worcester Cake Off.
The event was held as part of this year’s Worcester Festival and saw prizes in the main category and for young bakers as part of the Great Worcester Junior Cake Off.
Organisers sampled a tasty range of entries and more than 500 people cast their votes for their favourite cake.
Tracey Rochelle from Cookmate on Broad Street said: “We had a great time raising money for the Megan Baker House Children’s Charity and everyone loved coming in to see the cakes
“We’re definitely going to do it again next year.”
