KNITTING needles have been busy clacking in Worcester making blankets for a care home.
Latimer Court care home received the handmade blankets knitted by members of St Nicholas Church of Warndon.
Church volunteer Marian, along with some of her colleagues, took the blankets along especially for the residents.
Rev Rosie Moss said: “We were delighted to knit some blankets for the residents of Latimer Court. The members of our Craft Club wanted to do their bit to give back to our community, and were so pleased the blankets were so well received.”
Care home general manager Donna Tustin added: “We are so grateful to the community group at St Nicholas for keeping our residents in mind and offering them this great gift with such love and care.
“At Latimer Court we are always keen to show as much support as we can to our local community, and it is great to know that our community thinks of us in the same light.”
