Worcester Editorial 23rd Jul, 2022   0

A CHANCE to hail the ale and sample the taste of a variety of beers and ciders will be on offer at New Road as Worcestershire CCC hosts its very own beer festival.

Ales from breweries across the country will be on offer alongside top-class entertainment, a live DJ and saxophonist and delicious food from the Street Food village at the event from 3pm to 11pm on Friday (July 29).

Guest ales including Vanilla Sky from Green Duck, Beat Funk, Printworks Bumble Bees and the Elephant Riders from Fownes will be on tap.

Area 51 and Morgan’s Rye Ale and Blonde Ale will also be on offer while ale lovers can even sample a Froth Blowers Gollop with Zest.

Greene King ales such as the Old Speckled Hen, Greene King IPA and the delightful Land of Hopportunity will also be on offer.

Dirty Fries, twice cooked French fries coated with cheese, topped with bacon, sour cream and garnished spring onions, will be on offer for those in need of a snack.

The Original Burger Company will also be in attendance with their locally produced butchers burgers to which hungry visitors can add their toppings and sauces to create their own ‘original burger’.

Tickets are £5 which includes the first half pint and available at wccc.co.uk
