CCTV images released after Worcester burglary

Worcester Editorial 24th Apr, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016

POLICE have released CCTV images of a young man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in the city.

The incident happened at a house in Hallow Road between 2.15pm and 2.35pm on Monday, March 24.

The householder returned home to discover the kitchen window at the back of the house was smashed and her purse, containing bank cards and cash, was missing.

It is thought the burglar may have been disturbed and left by the rear garden which leads onto Lechmere Crescent and Ellison Avenue.

DC Pete Ryland said: “We are appealing for the person shown in these images, which are from CCTV at a property in Ellison Avenue, to come forward.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or heard anything unusual in that area of Worcester at the time of the burglary.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Ryland at police in Worcester by calling the non emergency number 101 and quoting incident number 405s 240314.

Alternatively information can be passed on anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or completing its online form by logging on to
