A RIVERSIDE restaurant helped the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Prince’s Trust Development Committee raise £2,015 for their cause.

The caring charity hosted an afternoon tea at Brown’s at the Quay on the banks of the River Severn.

Emily Rowe from Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants organised the event which welcomed 90 guests from the Worcestershire business community.

Browns supplied freshly baked scones, sandwiches and a selection of cakes all washed down with champagne.

The money raised will be spent on local projects supporting young people aged 13 – 30 to get into jobs, education and training.

Danielle Oliver, committee chair, said: “Our afternoon tea event was a great success, and I would like to thank all of our guests for helping us raise a fantastic amount of money for the Prince’s Trust.”
