THE DISTRAUGHT owner of the world’s biggest rabbit has offered a £1,000 reward for his safe return to his Worcestershire home.

Annette Edwards made the heartfelt plea after Darius was stolen from his enclosure in the garden overnight on Saturday (April 10).

The Continental Giant rabbit hit the headlines when he was awarded a place in the Guinness Book of Records for the being the biggest rabbit in the world at an incredible four ft in size.

Writing on Twitter, Ms Edwards said it was a sad day and called on the thieves to return her beloved Darius.

“The police are doing their best to find out who has taken him. There is a reward of a £1,000.  Darius is too old to breed now. So please bring him back,” she said.
