AN ASPIRING young actress will draw back the curtain to take to the stage in Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Amberleigh Pettifer will be appearing alongside Jaymi Hensley from Union J at the Birmingham Hippodrome for the next two weeks in a revival of the smash-hit musical which has thrilled audiences for the last three decades.
The 10-year-old who attends Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary and Crescents Ballet School made the grade after a successful audition in April alongside the boyband star who will take on the role of Joseph to follow in the footsteps of Jason Donovan, Phillip Schofield and Lee Mead.
Her moment in the spotlight comes during a busy time for the city youngster who is also limbering up for ballet exams at the city’s ballet school.
