PERDISWELL Young People’s Centre held the annual Foster Family Fun Day for looked-after children on Sunday, August 7.
The event was organised by Worcestershire Children First along with support from the Children in Care Council, ‘Who Cares We Care.’
Activities at the fun day ranged from a Harry Potter room and inflatables to face painting and nail art from Funky Faces.
There was also a magic photo mirror, crafts and activities and cake decorating.
St Johns Sainsbury’s sponsored the cafe, offering free refreshments for carers and children at the fun day.
Some of the county council’s corporate parents attended, including Coun Steve Mackay and Coun Andy Roberts, who went with his wife Fran.
Coun Roberts, who is the cabinet member for children and families, said: “It was wonderful to see the children having such a good time and it was great to liaise with our partners who did a great job in bringing the event together.”
