A feast of music is on the menu

Worcester Editorial 6th Feb, 2021   0

A MUSICAL afternoon with performances from legendary musicians to support the local foodbank community in its efforts to supply food to the homeless and those in need has been unveiled.

The event will showcase five talented musicians, a mixture of musical genres from Tor Pingree, James Chatfield, Theone, Immy and the Boatman, and Redwood.

The fund-raiser is available to the public to donate; fight against food poverty and support local food banks to stay open during the most difficult of times.

Tor Pingree, Green Party candidate for St Clements said: “I don’t think anyone should have to face going hungry, which is why I want to do all I can to help support my local foodbank”

Foodbanks have risen in demand by 47 per cent between April and September 2020.

The event is located on Livestream via Facebook and will take place on Sunday (February 7) from 3pm to 5pm.
