WORCESTER Warriors have confirmed two friendly matches ahead of the start of the 2026/27 Champ Rugby season.
Warriors will play Champ rivals Ampthill on Saturday, August 29 with Matt Everard’s side to travel to Dillingham Park at the end of next month.
A kick-off time for the Ampthill clash will be announced in due course.
And Worcester will also host Welsh side Cardiff Rugby at Sixways Stadium on Saturday, September 5 with kick-off at 3pm.
Cardiff finished sixth in the United Rugby Championship (URC) last season.
The Welsh club were beaten in the quarter-finals by South African side Stormers.
Cardiff are one of four professional teams in Wales and previously lifted the European Challenge Cup in 2009/10 and 2017/18.
Former British and Irish Lion Taulupe Faletau features in Cardiff’s squad.
Former Welsh greats Leigh Halfpenny, Sam Warburton, Liam Williams and Gareth Thomas have all represented Cardiff.
