No West Midlands Railway service to run on two days next week

Worcester Editorial 29th Jan, 2023   0

NO West Midlands Railway (WMR) services will be running on any route on Wednesday, February 1 and Friday, February 3 due to rail strikes.

Members of the ASLEF union have announced their intention to stage industrial action on both days.

Early morning and late night services on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday could also be impacted and passengers have been urged to check timetables before travelling.

Jonny Wiseman, WMR customer experience director, said it was ‘disappointing’ the industrial action was continuing to impact passengers’ journeys.

Anyone who has booked tickets on a strike day can use them on other days or claim a full refund.
