Changing grooms: Men get marital training

Worcester Editorial 25th Feb, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

HUSBANDS-to-be are being offered training at a hotel to keep a happy life with a happy wife.

The Groom Academy has just been launched by The Worcester Whitehouse Hotel with essential cooking and housekeeping skills just some of the things on the agenda.

Participants will learn from the hotel’s staff and its experienced chef will show them how to cook meals that will impress their other halves on special occasions.

Those whose weddings are at the hotel will receive a text reminder of their anniversary to prevent future marital spats.

The grooms that want to shape up for their big day can also sign up for a personal training session at the hotels gym.

Rachael Mitchell, general manager at The Worcester Whitehouse Hotel said: “We recognise that there are lots of other factors that help make a happy marriage last. That’s why we’ve launched our exclusive academy to groom men to become perfect husbands who know how to keep the romance alive.

“Our cocktail and cooking classes will help men spoil their future wives and our reminder text service will even help dispel any potential arguments between forgetful fellas and their better halves.”

The package includes a three course meal at the Foregates Brasserie, an overnight stay and breakfast.
