THE end of this year’s Wychavon Parish Games is fast approaching following a busy week of action.
The pool final, sponsored by Kanes Foods, saw local rivals Badsey and Bretforton play out a back and forth contest as the lead changed hands throughout before Bretforton clinched victory in the final game.
Elsewhere, in the semi-finals of the skittles, sponsored by HFN Landscapes, Evesham Bengeworth eased past Pershore Holy Cross before Badsey edged out Honeybourne.
The final will take place on Friday, November 11 at the Ambassador Club.
And the men’s darts final, sponsored by KC Carpets, also took place as Bretforton beat Badsey in another close affair which went down to the wire.
The Presentation Evening, when winners and runners up of all events will be presented with their trophies, along with a number of special trophies, will be attended by Cllr Sinton, the Chairman of Wychavon District Council.
This will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 23 at Bengeworth Club, Coronation Street, Evesham.
