WORCESTER City have re-signed full back Tyler Weir from Skrill Conference North rivals Gloucester just a few months after he joined them.
The 23-year-old left City and signed a two-year deal with the Tigers in the summer, but a difficult start to the season saw him terminate his contract and link back up with Carl Heeley’s side this week.
Heeley said: “Tyler left us in the summer and went to Gloucester. I don’t know the ins and outs but he’s obviously not happy there and hasn’t settled.
“I think he had a chat with their manager and asked for his contract to be cancelled. He then contacted me and asked if we would take him back.
“Tyler’s a quality player and I’m really glad to have him back at the club.
“He’s signed and registered with us to play and he wants to come and play football, that’s the sort of lad he is and I’m glad it’s been resolved.”
