Waller joins 100 club as Warriors tackle Bears

Worcester Editorial 6th Nov, 2021 Updated: 6th Nov, 2021   0

Warriors loosehead prop Ethan Waller will join the 100 Club when he brings up a century of appearances in Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership match against Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate (kick-off 3pm).

Waller become the 31st player to make 100 appearances for Warriors in the professional era and he will reach the landmark in his fifth season at Sixways following his move from Northampton Saints.

He will join hooker Niall Annett, lock Graham Kitchener and flanker Sam Lewis as the other 100 Club members in the current squad.

Waller retains his place in the front row in a side that shows three changes to the one that beat Sale Sharks last week.

Perry Humphreys is recalled on the wing in place of Duhan van der Merwe who is on international duty with Scotland.

Andrew Kitchener returns to the second row in place of his elder brother, Graham, who suffered a head injury against Sale.

The other change is at number eight where Matt Kvesic is recalled in place of Sione Vailanu who starts for Tonga against England at Twickenham.

On the bench, lock Justin Clegg returns after missing the last two matches because of a shoulder injury.
