SPORTING success has been on the timetable at Christopher Whitehead Language College and Sixth Form, with silverware for two of the Worcester school’s sixth-form teams.
The netballers have remained unbeaten in their journey to win the West Midlands League a year after the school entered the AOC sport leagues.
As a new college, the school had to start in Division Four but they cruised to the title. They are now unbeaten in two seasons.
The footballers deservedly won the U18 ESFA Worcestershire Schools final against Haybridge School, held at Bromsgrove Sporting’s Victoria Ground.
The students overcame a missed penalty and hitting the bar twice to record a 2-0 win with goals from Charlie Corfield and man-of-the-match Jake Cavens
