THE 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership Rugby fixtures have been confirmed and Alan Solomons’ new-look Warriors will kick off the new season with a home clash against local rivals Wasps on Saturday, September 1 (kick-off 3pm).
It promises to be an exciting start to the campaign as Solomons’ troops will also host Newcastle Falcons while travelling to Sale Sharks, Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs in the first month of the season.
Warriors’ first away trip sees them visit Sale which will be broadcast on BT Sport on Sunday 9 September (kick-off 3pm) and they will be back on the big screen when they rekindle their special rivalry with newly-promoted and newly-named Bristol Bears on Sunday 7 October at Sixways (kick-off 3pm).
Warriors have also been picked for the TV cameras on Friday 23 November in Round 8 of Gallagher Premiership Rugby, when they host Harlequins at Sixways (kick-off 7.45pm, live on BT Sport).
This year’s Christmas fixture will see Warriors battle Northampton Saints at Sixways on Saturday 22 December (kick-off 3pm) while a home clash with Bath Rugby in January will kick off 2019.
April will see two huge home matches with Sale and Gloucester Rugby while the regular season will come to an end with reigning champions Saracens heading to Sixways on Saturday 18 May.
Warriors Managing Director Gus Mackay said: “We’re immensely excited about the new season.
“We are happy with how the fixture list has played out and hopefully we’ll see some bumper crowds at Sixways as the team look to push on up the league table.
“We are committed to having all our home Premiership games on Saturday afternoons unless dictated by TV picks, as we aim to reach out to a variety of people – in particular families.”
