WORCESTER Warriors have added more experience to their front row for next season with the signing of Samoan prop Na’ama Leleimalefaga.
The loose-head will move to Sixways in the summer after eight years with French side Montpellier where he featured in the Top 14 and Champions Cup.
The 27-year-old, who has also gained international recognition with Samoa, will fight it out with rising stars Ryan Bower and Val Rapava Ruskin for the number one jersey next season.
Leleimalefaga said: “I am really looking forward to the prospect of joining such an ambitious club and I cannot wait to get started.
“The progress of the club has been remarkable in recent times and I am excited about the challenge of joining a competitive environment.”
Director of rugby Dean Ryan added: “Na’ama is a powerful prop who will add yet more competition to our squad and give us another option amongst a talented front row.
“He has experienced the highest level of club rugby this season and has represented his country so we look forward to welcoming him to the Sixways.”
Meanwhile, tight-head prop Rob O’Donnell has moved out on loan to Newcastle Falcons, while Heath Stevens has followed George Porter and Tiff Eden to Nottingham.
