Preparations well underway for this year's Wychavon Parish Games

PREPARATIONS are well underway for this year’s Wychavon Parish Games.

One-day events will start with the bell boating, held in Evesham, which takes place on Saturday, June 24 later this summer.

And the rounders will then take place the following weekend on Sunday, July 3 at Badsey Recreation Club who will also play host to the men’s five-a-side football on Sunday, July 9.

The cross country will take place on the evening of Monday, July 17, over the parkrun course in Evesham with the Petanque to be held at Waterside on Sunday, July 23.




And the Bowls will again be held at Pershore Bowling Club on Sunday, August 6 before a gap to the angling on the River Avon on Saturday, September 16.

The last one-day events are the junior and senior table tennis which will be held at St Egwin’s CofE Middle School on Sunday, October 8.


Rules and entry forms will be sent out to all parish organisers before Easter with the closing date for entries June 4.
