LEGENDARY darts players Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor and Gary ‘The Flying Scotsman’ Anderson are heading to Worcester to take part in the World Darts Blockbuster.
Sixteen-times world champion Taylor will take on current PDC world champion Anderson in the exhibition event at Sixways Stadium on Tuesday, April 12.
Two Worcester Warriors players will also take to the stage to play in a special celebrity charity pairs match in aid of the Warriors Foundation.
Taylor said: “I’m really looking forward to coming to Sixways to play in the World Darts Blockbuster.
“Gary and I rarely get to play each other outside of the PDC tour so this will be a terrific event and I’m sure the home of Warriors will create a cracking atmosphere.”
Warriors Chief Executive Jim O’Toole said: “To attract the World Darts Blockbuster to Sixways is a major coup for the club and we’re very much looking forward to the evening.
“This is a huge event for any darts fan across the West Midlands and we’re expecting a big crowd on the night.
“There will be plenty of entertainment for everyone to enjoy and we’ll discover which Warriors players have an eye for the dartboard.”
Tickets cost £20, which includes unreserved table seating and a complimentary beer. Food packages are also available at £30.
