TWO ENGLAND Lions matches this summer will be held at New Road, it has been announced.
Worcestershire CCC’s home ground will be the venue when the Lions team face New Zealand A and Sri Lanka A in a triangular One Day series starting in early August.
The Lions squad will face Sri Lanka A at New Road on Monday, August 11 before they take to the ground again 24 hours later to face New Zealand A on Tuesday, August 12.
The New Road matches could prove to be decisive as they will be the final matches to be played in the tournament.
Taunton and The County Ground in Bristol will also be hosting matches in the tournament.
