Worcester Editorial 14th Mar, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016

LIVE updates from our man at The Autotech Stadium, Jonny Bonell, where Worcester City are in Vanarama Conference North action against Solihull Moors.

The live update has now finished.

– What an incredible second 45 from the visitors. Solihull had led at the break thanks to Ryan Beswick’s goal but Moors goalkeeper Tony Breeden had a second half to forget when he first deflected Sean Geddes’ free-kick into his own net before he spilled the sam man’s set piece in with nine minutes left. Another moment of madness saw the keeper miss his clearance and substitute Micah Evans tapped home in injury time before Daniel Nti rounded off with number four. Thanks for following today.

More on goals: Breeden had another moment of absolute madness for Evans as he completely fluffed his clearance and the substitute taps home into an empty net before a swift counter results in Nti slotting the ball under the keeper for four. Incredible second half from City.

47min: Quick start to the second half by Worcester as they look to draw back level.

The teams are back out and the second half is underway.

– Decent half of football here but Beswick’s goal is the difference between the two here at the break. City’s defence failed to clear their lines and the Solihull man tucked the ball home. Both sides have had chances to add to the scoreline but it remains 1-0.

2 minutes of added time.

44min: Dunkley now in the thick of it again. Chases down a ball on Breeden and the City man slides in and appears to catch the keeper. Dunkley picks up a yellow.

42min: Off the ball incident between Dunkley and Elvins leaves the City man on the floor. Nothing doing for the ref. Heeley not all too happy.

21min: Ambitious effort from Jackman as Dunkley’s cross is half-cleared to the midfielder who tries a spectacular volley but drags it wide.

20min: Sun breaks out here in Solihull but no chances of note in the last five minutes.

15min: Gough plays the ball into Bogle, he takes a touch and flashes his effort across the face off the goal for the Moors. Knights ends up putting the ball over the top.

12min: OFF LINE: Daly meets a Beswick corner but Nti is in the right place to head the ball off the line.

10min: Another half chance here for Worcester as Haynes skips inside Beswick but lashes his effort over the top.

9min: Good work by City as Geddes and Haynes combine to set up Nti who hits an effort which is well held by Breeden.

8min: Bogle comes closest to opening the deadlock as Nottingham’s throw from the right was allowed to bounce and the striker looped a half-volley just over the top.

6min: Wild effort by Nti as Boot’s long clearance is headed back to him but the half-volley flies well over.

3min: Solihull come forward as Beswick sprays the ball out to Fleet but his cross is sliced and goes behind without troubling Boot.

2min: Lively start by City, passing the ball around quickly at the start here.
