WORCESTER City utility man Aaron Brown has left the club, manager Carl Heeley has confirmed.
The 31-year-old rejoined the Blue & Whites in January after leaving Aggborough last summer for Solihull Moors, but “a busy personal life” has cut his second stint at Worcester short.
Heeley said: “There are a number of things he does in his personal life.
“He is quite a busy guy and I ask for a certain commitment and it has proved to be the case that he couldn’t commit so I have decided that Aaron leaves the club.
“He has been released, we wish him the best of luck but he couldn’t deliver the level of commitment the rest of the boys and me and Matt (Gardiner) dedicate.”
The City boss also paid tribute to Mike Symons, following the striker’s tenth goal of the campaign in the 4-1 victory against Hyde, but admitted the “unplayable” targetman needs to find the back of the net more regularly.
“Symmo should score more goals, that is his Achilles heel,” Heeley added.
“He is capable of it, he has been to this club and scored 20 goals in a season so he is capable of it, but for the size of the lad he can be unplayable.
“It was nice to see him get another goal against Hyde and hopefully he can get a couple more before the end of the season.”
