WORCESTER City will bid to return to winning ways with the visit of Lichfield City to Claines Lane on Saturday (February 18).

The Blue and Whites fell to their first defeat in three when Wolverhampton Casuals emerged with a 2-1 win after an early second-half double from the visitors.

City took the lead in last weekend’s Midland League Premier Division clash through Reiss Taylor Randle’s effort late in the first half.

The visitors came out firing in the second period and two quickfire goals from Callum Head and Musa Ceesay put them ahead.

Raiders will look to get back to form after a 2-0 defeat at promotion-chasing Cribbs with a trip to Corsham on Saturday.

The Bristol side’s victory ensured they kept pace with a rampant Malvern Town who made it six straight wins and 16 unbeaten with a 6-1 demolition of hosts Bradford Town.

A 20-minute first-half hat-trick from Ben Hayes, a Matthew Turner effort and a brace from Harlie Price kept Town on top of the Hellenic League Premier Division, five points clear of Cribbs who have three games in hand..

Malvern are set to host Mangotsfield United at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium in the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup on Tuesday (February 21).
