City make double signing

Worcester Editorial 1st Nov, 2013 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0
WORCESTER City have added two new players to their ranks ahead of tomorrow’s (Saturday) home game against North Ferriby United.
Defender Immanuel Parry and goalkeeper Harry Ashton have both joined City due to injuries to several first team players, including centre backs Richard Munday and Shabir Khan.
Parry, who stands at 6ft 3in, is a strong defender with a good turn of pace and the former Stoke City youngster has spent time on loan at Maidenhead United and Weston Super Mare where he played against City in last season’s FA Cup.
Young keeper Ashton, who has previously had a spell at Grimsby Town, is currently studying at Hartbury College and will join the club as back up to current number one, Jose Veiga.
Ashton’s arrival means Matt Sargeant, who was in his third season with the club, has been released from Aggborough.
