WORCESTER City have been dealt a blow with recently acquired midfield duo Robbie Bunn and Nathan Hayward revealing they will be moving on from the Blue and Whites.
Both players will leave John Snape’s side despite only agreeing deals with City in recent weeks.
Despite the blow, club chiefs have confirmed replacements for the duo have been identified and talks with the players are continuing.
Speaking to the Observer earlier this month, Bunn said he ‘couldn’t wait’ to join up with his team-mates after agreeing terms with the Blue and Whites.
“Worcester City is a massive club which finds itself in a lower league than they should be, which acts as a drive for players to work as hard as possible to make sure the club is moving in the right direction,” he said at the time.
Hayward made 42 appearances last term for City, scoring twice, and he captained the side 15 times following the departure of Brad Birch.
Speaking earlier this month, Hayward said: “After speaking to the gaffer, I want to show my commitment is with him and the club for another season.
“I can’t wait to be back playing for the blue and white faithful again.”
