THE Wychavon Parish Games are drawing to a close after the final of the dominoes took place last week.
The event, sponsored by Glassier Windows, took place at Bengeworth Club between Evesham Bengeworth and Bretforton.
And the final went down to the very last game as Bretforton eventually triumphed 5-4 in a close game.
Several other finals and semi-finals are scheduled to take place later this week with the pool final to be contested between Badsey and Bretforton in a local derby.
The semi-finals of the skittles, sponsored by HFC Landscapes, take place at the end of the week with Pershore Holy Cross to play Evesham Bengeworth and Honeybourne to play Badsey.
The final will take place on Friday, November 4.
And the final of the men’s darts, sponsored by KC Carpets, will be contested between Badsey and either Bretforton or Offenham.
The Presentation Evening, which will be attended by Cllr Sinton, the Chairman of Wychavon District Council, will take place on the evening of Wednesday, November 23 at Bengeworth Club, Coronation Street, Evesham.
