WORCESTER City will be looking to continue their excellent recent record against promotion contenders when they travel to Nuneaton Town.
The Blue & Whites have felled high-flying North Ferriby United and AFC Fylde in recent weeks and will be hoping to derail sixth placed Boro at the A1 Gas Force Arena on Saturday.
City go into the clash on the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Chorley at the weekend which saw the Blue & Whites stand toe-to-toe with their mid-table rivals.
Two goals in four second half minutes condemned City to defeat in what was a closely fought game.
Chances fell to both sides in a keenly-contested game on a less than impressive pitch but City fell behind when Jordan Connerton tapped home following Alex Gudger’s miscued header.
Dale Whitham made it 2-0 and, despite late chances, City were consigned to defeat which leaves them 16th in Vanarama National League North.
Following Saturday’s trip to Warwickshire, City are back in action on Tuesday when they welcome Stalybridge Celtic to Aggborough.
