THE CLASSIC tale of a heroic outlaw who stole from the rich and gave to the poor was brought to life at a village school near Worcester.
Key Stages Two children at Grimley and Holt Primary School held two performances of Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies to family and friends last week.
It saw pupils take on a variety of roles, including Robin Hood, Maid Marion, Sheriff of Nottingham and King John as the school was transformed into Sherwood Forest.
Teacher Rachael Watkins said: “All the children put on a spectacular performance of Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies and showcased it twice to families and friends.
“They had learned their lines splendidly and performed the play with sparkle, pizazz, glitter and talent, so it was a great way to end the school term.”
