DRIVERS are being urged to take care on the roads after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning of ice for Worcester.
With temperatures set to drop overnight (Friday) and into Saturday morning (January 14) forecasters have warned ice could form on untreated surfaces.
The weather warning will come into force from 4pm this afternoon until 12pm tomorrow.
The ice may cause some difficult driving conditions and could lead to longer than expected journey times.
The Met Office said: “Ice is likely to form on untreated surfaces especially where showers of sleet, snow and hail occur.
“This may lead to the risk of disruption with difficult driving conditions and expect longer journey times.”
