WORCESTER has woken up to snow this morning with as much as 10cm having already fallen
West Mercia Police has asked drivers to consider whether their journeys are necessary with a number of roads covered in snow.
All First Worcester bus services are currently suspended because of the conditions and highways teams are currently concentrating on snow ploughing roads.
The Worcester Rotary Christmas Parcels project has been postponed due to the wintry weather, anyone with a bag of donations is asked to keep hold of it. Members will be taking to the streets next Saturday to collect donations
The snow is expected to continue until this evening.
