TICKETS are now on sale for the Three Choirs Festival in Worcester which will take place in and around the city between July 27 and August 3.

It is inspired by the natural world and its influence on composers through works old and new.

Concerts feature internationally recognised soloists and orchestras as well as combine classical choral favourites with new music.

This year’s festival include Elgar’s epic The Kingdom, Holst’s exotic masterpiece The Cloud Messenger, and Bob Chilcott’s thought-provoking The Angry Planet.

Between events there will be food stalls and a community bandstand and a relaxed event for babies and toddlers.

A 20 per cent discount when booking three or more family events and half-priced tickets for families on Universal Credit/

There is also opportunities to get involved as a performer or a volunteer.

Singers can sign up for Three Choirs Festival Voices or the Youth Choir (for those aged 14-25) – both choirs will be performing in an evening cathedral concert with the Philharmonia Orchestra.

The festival also has a range of volunteer positions, including for event management, Front of House, and behind the scenes administration.
