A WORCESTER bookshop will be holding a charity event next month to raise vital funds for those impacted by the conflict in Gaza.
The open mic event will take place at Script Haven on Worcester High Street from 6.30pm on Saturday, May 11.
The event will give people a chance to share their poetry and essays in front of an audience.
Those attending will also be able to listen to the works of Palestinian writers.
Shop owner and former Worcestershire Poet Laureate Leena Batchelor, said the event was a chance to raise money directly for the people of Gaza and to boost their voices.
