A WORCESTER man has been charged following a fatal collision on the A44 Spetchley which led to the death of three people, including a six year old boy.
Joe-Lewis Tyler, 33, of Grenville Road in Worcester has been charged with three counts of causing death by dangerous driving.
The 33-year-old was further charged with three counts of causing death while uninsured.
He was also charged with one count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and one count of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
The charges relate to a collision on the A44 in Spetchley, Worcestershire on Thursday, February 22 where three people died.
At around 3pm a white BMW 3 series collided with a white Ford Mondeo.
The driver of the Mondeo, a woman aged 26, and the passenger, a woman aged 39 were pronounced dead at the scene.
A six-year-old boy, who was also in the Mondeo, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, but died shortly after arrival.
Tyler has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, March 16).
