Woman left with life-threatening injuries after collision near Worcester Sainsbury's

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman suffered life-threatening injuries following a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Windermere Drive.

The incident happened at around 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday, February 7).

A beige Nissan Figaro was travelling from Blackpole towards the Sainsbury’s on Windermere Drive.

The car then collided with a woman crossing the road.

The woman, who is in her 40s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
