POLICE have appealed for information after a fatal collision near Worcester.
At 5.30am a white Mercedes C220 and a white Ford Mondeo collided on the B4211 Worcester Road opposite Rydd Gardens, near Hanley Castle.
The driver of the Mondeo, a 37-year-old man, died of his injuries.
The Mercedes driver was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Anyone who saw the collision or has dash-cam footage of it, or either of the vehicles driving in the minutes before the collision should contact police.
