Police appeal after theft of quad bike from Worcester

Worcester Editorial 23rd Oct, 2023   0

A RED quad  bike was stolen from Worcester between 8pm on Friday night and 8am on Saturday morning, October 20 and 21.

The thieves struck at a garden shed on Penhill Crescent, St John’s.

The quad, a Honda TTX 400 in red, has the number 76 on it with ‘racing’ type stickers all over it. It is not road registered.

Police believe the quad bike was then used in a burglary on Rowley Hill Street around 4am on Saturday morning.  Two men forced a sash window open but seem to have been disturbed before making off without having taken anything.

Officers now want to hear from anyone with information or CCTV footage relating to either offence or any footage of the quad bike being ridden around.

They added: “It could be invaluable in the effort to both bring these offenders to justice and prevent any further harm from occurring in our community.”

Anyone with information or footage should email PCSO Dave Clee at [email protected] or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
