A MAN has died and four others have been taken to hospital following a collision in Warndon last night (April 29).

Ambulance staff were called to Pershore Lane, Warndon at around 10.23pm on Monday.

Four ambulances, a paramedic officer, a specialist paramedic and the Air Ambulance Critical Care Car from Strensham were sent to the scene.

Crews found two cars had been involved in a collision, with one of the vehicles ending up on its side.

The driver of the car on its side, a man, was in critical condition and was removed from the vehicle.

Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The four patients from the other car, all men, were already out of the vehicle when crews arrived.

They were all treated at the scene for ‘potentially serious injuries’ before being taken to Worcester Royal Hospital for further treatment.
