Here's when the gritters will be out on Worcester's roads as snow flurries possible

Worcester Editorial 18th Jan, 2024   0

WORCESTER’S roads will be gritted from 6pm this evening with light, isolated snow flurries forecast by the Met Office.

The cold snap will see road temperatures fall to below minus eight Celsius overnight with another hoar frost likely.

Drivers and pedestrians have been urged to take care on roads and pavements with icy stretches possible.

Tomorrow (Friday) will see another very cold start with a widespread, sharp frost and icy stretches.

It’s staying cold with plenty of sunshine and blue skies to end the week. The maximum temperature will be four Celsius.

A change is on the way over the weekend and into next week as the weather turns milder, wetter and much windier.

Gales are possible with gales possible and some rain too.
