DETAILS have been revealed for a service to celebrate the life of much-loved Worcester landlord Alex Pope.
The service in memory of the Paul Pry landlord will take place on Monday, February 19 at 1.30pm at Worcester Cathedral.
The 39-year-old suddenly passed away last month sparking an outpouring of tributes and messages of condolence to his loved ones.
His loved ones have welcomed all those who wish to celebrate his life to attend the service.
The family have asked for money people were thinking of spending on flowers to be donated to Age UK.
A GoFundMe was set up to support his family following Alex’s passing and raised over £15,800.
The page was set up to pay for the funeral expenses and to help with the ongoing short-term costs of his beloved Paul Pry.
A statement released on social media said: “Although Alex’s life ended before we were ready, the time that he spent in our lives was memorable and full of joy.
“We welcome you to celebrate his life with us at Worcester Cathedral.”
