Worcester company raised thousands for MND charity

A WORCESTER based housing company have raised over £5,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association with a charity walk.

A team of staff from Miller Homes raised a total of £5,451 by earning £1 for every mile walked by a member of staff for a whole month.

Miller Homes have chosen MND Association as this years chosen charity and plans to raise more money throughout the year.

Richard Parris, the MND Association’s corporate partnerships development manager said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as Miller Homes’ charity partners.

“MND is a devastating disease that currently has no cure or effective treatment, but we are working tirelessly to change that through funding and promoting cutting-edge MND research.

“Fundraising through this partnership will help us provide support for people living with MND, fund research and campaign to make a difference to the lives of people with MND.”
